My name is Ef Rodriguez. You might know me as @pug on the internets.

I'm a copywriter and social strategist (presently at Wieden+Kennedy, before that Crispin Porter + Bogusky), specifically focused on how brands can hold their customers closer as the night grows colder. 

I'm also an event director, leading the largest Ignite event in the world (adorably known as Ignite Boulder) for many years, as well as Boulder Startup Week, a five-day celebration of the tech community in Boulder, Colo. I also help organize TEDxBoulder and any other event that could use a set of spidery hands.

I'm originally from North Texas but spent 12 years in Boulder before moving to Amsterdam to wear wooden shoes. I prefer to walk everywhere instead of drive, since it gives me more time to think and stroke my beard with convincing sincerity. (My sneaker fetish developed as a result of demolishing pair after pair during these walks.)

I live digitally, am a lifelong gamer (obsessions include World of Warcraft, Words with Friends), and a gallant goofball. My favorite band is Blur. I adore Canada (Vancouver took my minty breath away), get way too many haircuts and am very pleased to meet you.
